Library Safety Week
Be safe this week everyone!
Famicase Exhibit at Meteor Gallery is Open!
Back in March I told you all about how I was entering the “Famicase” exhibit for the second year in a row. Well, now it is Golden Week and here we are!
Entry No. 186 - "Sora no Uta"
"This late era licensed tie-in failed to reach commercial success and bankrupted its developer. The cartridge used special internal hardware to create impressive graphical effects. Because of this, it's sought after by collectors and has a cult following among animation enthusiasts."
I’ve been using the show every year to experiment and try things out of my comfort zone. The Japanese language is definitely that, but what I really spent time on this year was learning how to make those 3D metallic letters in Photoshop. Next year… watercolor?
Since I cannot be in Japan, here it is on display at the show courtesy of Twitter er… uh… “X” user senti_terio. You can see it fifth in line on the top row.
If you read this far, thanks for sticking around for my extra rambling this week!
