Process Talk:
I’ve returned with another comic and some more behind the scenes process stuff for your weekend enjoyment! You guys seemed to like the time-lapse in last week’s Sunday Funnies, so have another one! I had fun with the light box on this strip. Gotta line up those tiles!

It’s rare an idea sorta comes together this completely all at once. People like to think of making comics as a linear process and it’s not - no creative process is. I like to try to be non-committal from beginning to end. The hardest part about that is you have to commit to something by the end. Thank goodness for deadlines! I wanted Leaf to exclaim something in that last panel and I ultimately settled on “Think of the children!” which was the first idea I had, but it felt too obvious. Sometimes though, the obvious answer is still the right answer. (Especially with this one. Keep that in mind for next week!)
Notice the numbers I wrote next to all the dialogue? What do you think I use those for?
As always, thank you guys and have a great week ahead!
